Why Kidô was created

 Kidô was born from a very real fear shared by many parents — the fear of losing sight of your child near water, even for just a second.

Our founder, a mother of two, often found herself anxious around pools, the beach.

Existing safety solutions were either fixed in place, felt outdated, or foremost never created with the child in mind .

That’s when the idea of Kidô was born: a simple, wearable water & distance  alarm 

Kidô was developed to be portable, reliable, and designed with families in mind, easy enough for grandparents to use, comfortable enough for children to wear, and smart enough to truly make a difference.
